Two new Smartphones from two different brands have been launched and they will be available very soon via offline retail stores. Both the phones offer a HD+ screen with 18:9 aspect ratio, run on Android 8.1 Oreo, come with only 2 GB of RAM and a low performance CPU. Lets have a look at the Specs and features of these Smartphones and then find out whether they are worth buying or not.
- Specification Highlight -
Itel A62 - 5.65 inch HD+ display, Android 8.1 Oreo, MediaTek
MT6739WA SoC, 5 MP front camera and 13 MP+VGA Dual rear camera, 3000 mAh
battery, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt storage.
Vivo Y71i - 6 inch HD+ display, Android 8.1 Oreo, Snapdragon
425 SoC, 8 MP rear camera and 5 MP front camera, 3360 mAh battery, 2 GB
of RAM and 16 GB of RAM.
Detailed Specs of the Itel A62 -
Itel A62 has a 5.65 inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and comes
with Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box. It is powered by MediaTek MT6739WA
processor which is a Quad-core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz coupled
with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of on-board storage.
Talking about the cameras, as mentioned above it has a dual rear camera
setup which consists of the 13 MP primary camera and a VGA camera as the
secondary lens. The main camera has autofocus and comes with several
modes like face beauty, portrait mode, low-light modes etc. The front
camera is a 5 MP shooter and comes with a soft LED flash.
Under the hood, it has a 3000 mAh battery which would not last for a day
if you are a heavy user but if you are a normal user, then you will get
a full day's battery life. It is a dual sim device and you also get a
dedicated microSD card slot to expand the storage. The MRP of the device
is Rs 7,999 but it will be sold at Rs 7,499.
For security, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and it also has the support for face unlock.
Detailed Specs of the Vivo Y71i -
The Vivo Y71i features a 6 inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio and
this one runs on FunTouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. It is
powered by the Snapdragon 425 SoC which is a Quad-core CPU clocked at
1.4 GHz and is coupled with 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of in-built storage.
This one has a 3360 mAh battery which should last for something around
12-15 hours.
The cameras on this phone are not much impressive, it has a 8 MP front
camera and a 5 MP front camera with AI beauty. Vivo claims that the AI
beauty present on this phone can enhance the photos based onn skin tone,
Gender and Age.
The phone has some additional features like Face Access, Screen Split
3.0 for improved multi-tasking and App Clone feature. It is priced at Rs
8,990 which is not at all worth for a phone with such low-grade specs
but as it is focused on the Offline market, this is what it is.
So, I don't recommend this phone at all. At this price we get the base variant of Oppo Realme 1 which is far far better than this Smartphone.
